characters in the JCL EDITOR.

  • The following special nordic characters cause the JCL editor to
flag lexer errors:
Swedish/Finnish Å,å,Ä,ä,Ö,
Danish/Norwegian Å,å,Æ,æ,Ø,

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The JCL editor lexer gets tripped up by special nordic letters
because they fall outside of the ASCII range.
