Error description

  • You have a test that validates a message field against a tag
    value.
The overall validation passes but when you view the received
message in the Message Difference window you see a green
highlight on the Actual side with an expected value of "" or
    null.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Configure a request-reply test.

    2. Create a tag and set it to the expected value of one of the
    reply fields.

    3. Run the test.

    4. Click on the test console line containing "Message validation
    passed"

    EXPECTED RESULT:

The field in question shows no highlighting to alert to
    differences.

    ACTUAL RESULT:

The field in question Actual side shows green highlight.
Below is a message such as:

Expected null, found value "200" (Action = "Equality") -<field
    name>
