  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of the IBM Automatic Binary        *
  *                 Optimizer (ABO) for z/OS, v1.3 with large    *
  *                 input modules.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: For some very large input modules that  *
  *                      contain a significant amount of         *
  *                      CICS calls, ABO may consume a large     *
  *                      amount of CPU time when optimizing the  *
  *                      module. This APAR has improvements to   *
  *                      significantly reduce the amount         *
  *                      of CPU time used by ABO in these        *
  *                      cases.                                  *
  *                      This APAR also reduces the amount       *
  *                      of memory consumed by ABO when          *
  *                      optimizing a large module and using     *
  *                      the 'ARCH=12' ABO option.               *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply provided service                       *

  ABO was enhanced to reduce the CPU time and memory consumed
  when optimizing larger input modules.
