Error description

  • Copying and Pasting of agent prototype is allowed in the same
resource group. According to the Knowledge Center
it is not allowed to put two agent prototypes in
the same folder (group) in a Resource template.

Indeed, if you try to add the second Agent prototype, you get an
error and you cannot complete the action (but you are to
copy and paste and rename the copied one).

    Steps to reproduce:
    -----------------------------
    SCENARIO 1 (working as designed)

    1. Create a Resource template "ResTem"

    2. Add one agent Prototype

    3. Try to add another agent prototype to the same folder. You
    get
    the error:

Resource with name Agent Prototype already exists for parent
/ResTem on a Resource Template related to Resource Template
    ResTem

    SCENARIO 2 (defect):

    4. Select the Agent prototype, and pressing the CTRL Key, copy
    it
    inside the same folder.

This created a new Agent prototype with name: Agent Prototype
    (Copy)

(While copying, you can also rename it to whatever name you
    want).
