APAR status

Error description

  • In IBM Developer for z Systems (IDz) v14.1.3.1 when a data set
    member with a undefined mapping extension is edited from Remote
    Systems view, an incorrect file extension may be assumed that
    would result in syntax error for the entire content of the file.

  • Open the file in Browse mode.
    

Problem summary

  • Missing checks for blank return value from RAA scanner tool.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Added checks for blank return value and logic for how to handle
    this.
