Error description

  • A CICS region received the following abend while shutting down:

ABN=130-02470002,U=SYSOPR M=CSQ3SSES

RSN02470002 indicates that the resource being DEQ'ed is not
owned.

The DEQ PSW is in CSQ3SSI2 for SYSZCSQ3/CSQYALLI

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 130 reason 02470002 may be seen   *
*                      when a CICS region is shutdown which    *
*                      was connected to MQ                     *
****************************************************************
During EOT processing for the MQ connection from the CICS
region, CSQYALLI ENQ is obtained. However further processing
may result in an IRB for CSQ3ID80 being dispatched on the same
TCB, which attempts to get the ENQ which is already held by this
TCB. The IRB will DEQ the CSQYALLI ENQ prior to the IRB
completing, resulting in the abend when previous processing
resumes after the IRB, and attempts to DEQ the resource again
when it is no longer held.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQ3ID80 processing has been updated to ensure the DEQ of the
resource only occurs when it is no longer required
