APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In CQWeb, when modifying a record adding a new attachment and
trying to save the record, if the validation of the record fails
(typically some incorrect field value in some other tab), the
attachment list shows a size of "0" for the new attachment.
If the condition that caused the validation to fail is
corrected, it will be able to save the record and the correct
size for the attachment is set. SO this issue affects the size
info only in between a record validation error and the saving of
    the record.
This issue does not affect the CQ heavy client.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.6.
This condition has been corrected. If a ClearQuest Web record
has a validation failure, all attachments will still display
    their correct size values.
