    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available *
    ****************************************************************
On a non data sharing Db2 system, the customer attempted to run
RECOVER utility with SLB as a recovery base. The RECOVER failed
with the DSNU510I message indicating no recovery base available
for recovery of the table space, even though a SLB was
available. The recovery was successful but the table space was
    recovered from the logs.

This problem could occur for point in time recovery or for a
full recovery when the RBA for a non data sharing system is a
small value. For example, when the RBA value is less than
    than x'00000000004000000000'.

Problem conclusion

  • Code in the RECOVER utility has been corrected for this
    scenario.
