OA46465: MISSING WORKSPACES ON THE TEP AFTER INSTALLING SAZ/OS V3.5 APPLICATION SUPPORT WHEN RUNNING SAZ/OS V3.3

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In preparation for an upgrade from SAz/OS V3.3 - V3.5 the
  client installed SAz/OS V3.5 Application Support on the TEP,
  but since doing this, they noticed the following workspaces are
  missing:
  
  1) Gateway Connections workspace
  2) Resource Overview workspace
  3) Status Items workspace

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All SA z/OS V3R3 customers using the TEP     *
  *                 monitoring agent and have already upgraded   *
  *                 the SA z/OS application support to           *
  *                 SA z/OS V3R5.                                *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Status Items workspace is missing   *
  *                      when running with the SA z/OS V3R5      *
  *                      application support on SA z/OS V3R3.    *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  After installing SAz/OS 3.5 Application Support on the TEP,
  the following workspaces are missing when still running
  SA z/OS V3R3:
  o Gateway Connections workspace
  o Resource Overview workspace
  o Status Items workspace
  

Problem conclusion

• The SA V3R5 version of part KAHAGENT is shipped in order to be
  compatible with SA V3R3.
  
  Note:
  Predefined workspaces Message Events and Resource Topology
  should be ignored since they are not supported with
  SA z/OS V3R3.
