Error description

  • Customer upgraded from HOD 11.0.8.0 to HOD 11.0.8.0 special
build. After the upgrade the clients got a blank screen with no
icons when they tried to launch HOD. This occurs when the
customer tries to use JRE 1.6.0_23.

Local fix

  • Uncheck the Next Generation Flag

Problem summary

  • This issue was happening because new security enhancement has
been made in JRE 1.6_22.
