OA45366: MSGDWO378E ISSUED WHEN MONITOR ROUTINE FOR MTR RESOURCE CONTAINS THE NORMAL PIPE SEPARATOR IN THE REXX CODE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a REXX Clist containing the normal NetView PIPE separator
  within the clist's code when SAzOS calls the routine defined
  in the 'MONITOR INFO' Policy a DWO378E will be produced.
  Ex:
  DWO378E LABEL STRING IS TOO LONG, GREATER THAN 8 CHARACTERS
  IN LENGTH: '>ABCDEFGH'.

  PIPE separator (i.e. |) then INGMON/AOFRUMTR can fail with
  PIPE errors.
  

Problem conclusion

• REXX module AOFRUMTR has been modified to use an nonprintable
  PIPE stage separator.
