APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • System Automation PAM (Primary Automation Manager) status in the
    INGAMS command output shows  ENABLED  -  IO SUPPRESSED.  This is
    not understood by the customer and is not explained anywhere.
    The help panel INGH$AM3 needs updating as do the manuals.
    ENABLED  -  IO SUPPRESSED  indicates the Takeover file is
    accessible by the PAM but due to an error it cannot be read or
    written to. Messages HSAL1105E, HSAM1010I, HSAM1373I, HSAM1317A
    may have been issued at time of error.

    |     be written. This reduces the amount of I/O to the        |
    |     takeover file significantly, giving an update work item  |
    |     the same performance characteristics as a query work     |
