APAR status

Error description

  • When executing the following SCRIPT the specified Certificate
    associated with a Keyring Entry takes multiple iteration of
    executing the script to delete. The certificate will change
    Keyring Entry values during each iteration before finally being
    deleted.
    Commands to recreate:
    cd /usr/lpp/HOD/hostondemand/HOD
    java -classpath .:/usr/lpp/HOD/hostondemand/lib/sm.zip com.ibm.
    hod5sslight.tools.P12Keyring CustomizedCAs delete
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • User Affected: Administrators trying to delete a Certificate
    from CustomizeCAS.p12 using command line.
    This problem was happening because the deletion script reads
    only first digit of user input
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was modified to read all characters of user input
    before deleting the certificate.
    Fix scheduled to be available in HOD 11.0.9 Refresh Pack
