Error description

• After implementing the HOD 11.0.1-B20100315 we lost the
  highlighting of a URL in a protected field of a 3270
  emulator session.
  
  In the emulator under the Menu bar navigation of Edit =>
  Preferences => HotSpots...  we see that the box for
  "Display URLs as hotspots" is checked along with
  "Underline URLs" and "Don't show URLs in unprotected
  fields".  The client was created in the Deployment Wizard
  as a "Configuration server-based model".
  
  While in the emulator we can see that the URL is underlined
  when displayed as a protected field.  When we move the PC
  cursor over the URL the cursor icon does not turn into a
  finger, nor does the URL it is resting on appear highlighted.
  When we left click at that point a browser is launched.
  This has led to confusion because it would initially appear
  that the function isn't working again.
  
  This works the same when we make the URL a 3-D button. The 3-D
  button is displayed but the cursor does not change images nor
  is it highlighted but it does launch a browser.
  
  The same PC can run HOD 10.0.6-B20090520 and everything works as
  we expect. It is running JRE 1.6.0_13.

  When a user moves the mouse pointer over a URL hotspot,
  previously in HOD 10,
  1) The cursor changed to a hand (for both 3D and underline
     URLs)
  2) In the case of underline URLs, the underline would be
     highlighted (thick line)
  
  When the URL is clicked on or the mouse is moved away from the
  hotspot,
  1) The hand would change to a mouse pointer
  2) In the case of underline URLs, highlighting would become as
     it was before (thin line).
  
  This feature was removed in HOD version 11.
  

Problem conclusion

• ScreenText.java has been changed to put the logic in sync with
  HOD v10 for URL hotspots and for the new HOD v11 hotspot
  features (Number and Macro hotspots).
  
  Fix scheduled for HOD 11.0.3 Manufacturing Refresh
