Error description

  • USERS AFFECTED: Users of CUDA Fortran or OpenMP device
offloading in Fortran
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When CUDA Fortran or OpenMP device code is
compiled with -qcheck, and the device code contains an array
subscript  that is not an integer(8), XL Fortran fails with an
internal compiler error.

Local fix

  • Change the type of the array index to integer(8)
