Error description
Debug stabstrings generated with the -g compiler option are using a stab type that has not yet been defined. This is causing the -bstabcmpct:2 linker option to encounter an error while interpreting the stabstrings: ld: 0711-393 STABSTRING ERROR: Symbol table entry 22, object file /home/test.o A stabstring refers to type 13, which is not defined. Using the 'dump -t test.o' utility shows: [22] m 0x00000000 -2 0 0x8c 0x0000 :t14=ar0;1;3;13 , where the '13' is a type that has not yet been defined. The missing type is related to declaring an array using a passed subroutine parameter, i.e. SUBROUTINE TEST1(VAR1,VAR2) INTEGER*2 VAR1,VAR2(3,VAR1)
