Error description

  • If you are using Japanese UTF-8 language, db2 list database
    directory does not print directory name.

     Missing!! = <DIRECTORY NAME>
    ... snip ...
    

Local fix

  • Change locale without Japanese UTF-8.
    

Problem summary

  • If you are using Japanese UTF-8 language, db2 list database
    directory does not print directory name.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was first fixed in DB2 UDB Version 9.1 FixPack 7
