Error description

  • User install Tuxedo on 32-bit platforms and set TP_MON_NAME =
    TUXEDO in dbm configuration parameter, then, try to run their
    Tuxedo client application, but it failes with SQL0998N, reason
    code = 9, subcode = 2.

      DB2 LUW V8.2/V9.1 on Linux does not look for the correct
    Tuxedo shared library: instead of libtux.so, it is looking for
    libtux.

      In the db2diag.log, the message "sqloLoadModule, probe:190,
    dlopen, OSERR: ENOENT (2), DATA #1 : Library name or path,
    libtux" is dumped.

      This probe point is the eye-catcher for this APAR.
