APAR status

Error description

  • You notice that the SystemOut.log file is filling up with
following messages:

org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodBase getResponseBody
Going to buffer response body of large or unknown size. Using
getResponseBodyAsStream instead is recommended.

Local fix

  • Suppress the warning by adding to trace specification:
org.apache.commons. httpclient.*=severe

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that uses the getRespondBodyAsStream(), which is more
