APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If an IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) group named starting
with a colon was replicated from a user registry and was removed
 from that user registry, the following exception might be found
 in the log files after the IBM BPM server has been restarted:

org.springframework.jdbc.BadSqlGrammarException:
StatementCallback; bad SQL grammar [update LSW_USR_GRP_XREF set
GROUP_STATE = 1 where (GROUP_NAME in (...))]

As a result, the group is still visible within IBM BPM, such as
in the Process Admin Console.

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs because the group name is not surrounded by
single quotation marks, which results in an syntactically
incorrect SQL statement.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix that generates a syntactically correct SQL statement will
be included in upcoming releases of Business Automation
Workflow.
