Error description

  • You can't connect the IBM Process Designer with IBM Blueworks
Live because a 401 error occurs. You might see following
    exception in the SystemOut.log file:

Local fix

  • Use the redirect URL in Process Designer to connect to Blueworks
Live. You can get the redirect URL either from the exception in
the SystemOut.log file or manually logging into Blueworks Live
    from your browser (for example
    https://www.blueworkslive.com/sLogin.html). After you log in,
use the redirect URL (for example https://ibm.blueworkslive.com)
     in Process Designer.

Problem summary

  • IBM Business Automation Workflow uses an underlying Java
framework to handle redirection during http calls to Blueworks
Live. After the Java security fix IJ10895 is installed, some
expected cookies are removed from the redirected URL, resulting
    in 401 error.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that copies cookies between redirect URLs will be
available in a future release of Business Automation Workflow.
