APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Persistent session (Remember me) feature does not work as
expected, e.g.
when a guest shopper adds one item to the cart and closes the
browser, then reopens the browser to visit the site again, the
shopping cart is empty.

There is one log entry like the one below that says that
Persistent session is not enabled even if it is actually enabled
 in wc-server.xml:

com.ibm.commerce.browseradapter.HttpSessionContext.isPersistentS
hopCartEnabledForStore(Integer anStoreId) Exit
false

Remember me function does not work as expected.

Problem conclusion

  • Check if GuestUserMigrationEvent exists in WCSEvent manager each
 time.
