Error description

  • A specific SQL select statement, generated by the IBM Business
Process Manager (BPM) Query Table Builder and based on user
requirements, causes a locking conflict with IBM BPM's
cleanup-unused-shared-workitems process when it runs on a
Microsoft SQLServer database.

Problem summary


    

  • The generated SQL statement contains some sub-queries, which are
 not marked read uncommitted. This causes additional, unintended
 row locks for the specified database tables.

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.7.0 that generates the SQL
statement so that all sub-queries are marked WITH
