  • A BPD instance or task might be put into the wrong state because
the data is overwritten by a concurrent thread.

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs in various race conditions, such as the
following examples:

-Two users click the claim button (of same task) in Process
Portal at same time.
-One request sends the complete or terminate request of the
instance. The other concurrent thread tries to modify the task
due date or re-assign the task.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix that properly detects these race conditions will be
available in a future release of IBM Business Automation
Workflow.
