APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) receives a SOAP message
from a web service invocation, validation checks are done to
ensure that the SOAP message contains all the required elements.
 If a element is missing, a warning is logged.

However, the warning occurs not only for mandatory fields, but
also for optional elements that are specified with minOccurs=0
in the WSDL definition.

In the SystemOut.log file of the server, you see either of the
following messages:

CWLLG1149W A deserialization error occurred. The element with
the name

mentDetails cannot be fetched from the response SOAP body.

Local fix

  • After you deployed a new snapshot, restart your Process Server
environment.
Once the environment is restarted, the issue will disappear.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that suppresses the warning message for optional elements
will be available in a future release of IBM Business Automation
 Workflow.
