APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you start uninstalling the IBM Robotic Process Automation
with Automation Anywhere Control Room component, you see the
following error several times:

The system cannot find the path specified.

Local fix

  • Locate the uninstall.bat file in the INSTALL_DIR/Uninstall
directory of your IBM Robotic Process Automation with Automation
 Anywhere Control Room installation. Edit the file, change line
14 from

cd %?dp0

to

cd /d "%?dp0"

Then, restart the uninstallation.

Problem summary

  • The Control Room component can't be uninstalled if it was not
installed on the C drive.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is included in IBM Robotic Process Automation with
Automation Anywhere 10.0.0 CF2018.03 interim fix 001 that
ensures the Control Room component can be uninstalled from a
drive other than the C drive.
