APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a process is modeled to automatically flow from one human
    task to the next (the "Automatically flow to next task" option
    is selected), you are redirected to the work dashboard instead
    of being directed to the next human task. This issue occurs only
     for client-side human services.

Local fix

  • 1. Log in to the WebSphere Application Server administrative
    console by using administrator privileges.
    2. Select Resources > Resource Environment > Resource
    Environment Providers > Mashups_ConfigService to open the
    resource environment provider.
    3. Click Custom Properties to open the list of custom properties
    that are defined for this resource environment provider.
    4. Add a new custom property and save the changes:

    5. Restart the server.
    
    IMPORTANT: When you upgrade to IBM Business Automation Workflow
    V18.0.0.1, either remove the enableAltCFTaskCompletion property
    or set it to false.

  • A fix that enables the automatic flow from one human task to the
     next when a process is modeled as such, as it was previous to
    IBM BPM CF2018.03, will be available in a future release of IBM
    Business Automation Workflow.
