Error description
Your task was configured to be assigned to the Last User in the same lane, but it shows as assigned to the group. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) IBM BPM Express
Local fix
Problem summary
When a process flow crosses a swimlane and then re-enters the swimlane, the task won't be assigned to any user if the last user in the lane is specificed. This issue occurs since you upgraded to IBM Business Process Manager V8.6 CF201712.
Problem conclusion
A fix that assigns the task to the user of the task that is closed last in the lane will be included in a future release of IBM Business Automation Workflow. A new configuration property is introduced: <enable-legacy-lane-last-user-assignment> The default value is 'true', that means the fix is enabled by default. When updating this value to 'false' through changing 100Custom.xml file: <bpd-engine> <enable-legacy-lane-last-user-assignment merge="replace">false</enable-legacy-lane-last-user-assignment> </bpd-engine> BPM performs an additional check to verify that the last closed task in your lane is also the last closed task in the process.
