APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A generated SOAPAction header is added to the outbound SOAP
request if no policy set is configured, "Authentication" is set
to something different than "None", and the WSDL specifies an
empty SOAPAction or no SOAPAction at all. As a result, the web
service provider might reject the SOAP request.

Local fix

  • Instead of using the option in the web services integration to
add HTTP Basic Auth, a policy set can be used for this instead,
which does not exhibit this behavior.

  • A fix will be available in a future release of Business
Automation Workflow that makes sure that the SOAPAction header
is no longer generated when no policy set is configured,
"Authentication" is set to something different than "None", and
the WSDL specifies an empty SOAPAction or no SOAPAction at
