Error description

  • When a user is member of internal groups that are nested, the
    user.roles() JavaScript API returns parent groups multiple
    times.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The SQL query selecting the groups for the respective user does
    not filter duplicates.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that corrects the SQL statement to provide distinct
    results is available for IBM BPM V8.6 CF2017.12 and will be
    available in future release of IBM BPM.
