Error description

  • If IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) is upgraded to V8.5.7
cumulative fix 2017.06 and the JR58514 fix is installed, you
might see 404 not found error for requests to
/ProcessPortal/%7B%7BdashboardUrl%7D%7D and
/ProcessPortal/%7B%7BcoachUrl%7D%7D after logging into IBM
Process Portal.

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs when the invalid URLs
/ProcessPortal/%7B%7BdashboardUrl%7D%7D and
/ProcessPortal/%7B%7BcoachUrl%7D%7D are calling while loading
Process Portal because JR58514 changes the directive/attribute
from ng-src to src for the coach viewer. This problem occurs
only in Firefox and Chrome . In Chrome and Firefox, iframes try
to load a url like protocol://host:port/variableName when just
src is used, causing 404 errors. You can safely ignore these are
 errors.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix that uses the iframesrc directive/attribute instead will
be available in a future release of IBM BPM.
