  • When a user is in a lot of different groups, the user.roles()
    JavaScript API might take longer than expected before it returns
     the result.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The user.roles() JavaScript API accesses the database
    inefficiently.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.06 that
    accesses the database more efficiently, returning results
    faster. This fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3.
