Error description

  • When you use IBM Process Designer in Chinese and create a web
service, the Web Services editor doesn't display the Operation
    and Operation Details panels.

In the ae.log file, you see the following error:

    com.lombardisoftware.client.ae.forms.webservice.WebServiceEditor
    - Error creating control
    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of
    range: 1

Local fix

Problem summary

  • A translation error in a message used in the Web Service editor
leads to an exception that occurs while rendering the user
interface, leaving the panels Operation and Operation Details
    uninitialized.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that corrects the Chinese translation file will be
available in a future release of IBM BPM.
