Error description

  • When you have an IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) deployment
environment that uses an IBM DB2 for z/OS database and you run
the SchemaGenerator tool, the database connection fails because
the schema name in the database URL is null. You receive the
    following information:

Local fix

  • NA

Problem summary

  • The database schema for the IBM Process Server database is
stored in the currentSchema data source property of a DB2 for
z/OS database. The SchemaGenerator tool doesn't consider this
property when constructing the database URL.

Problem conclusion

  • An interim fix is available that considers the currentSchema
data source property when constructing the database URL. This
problem is already fixed in IBM BPM V8.5.7 CF2017.03 and later
    versions.

Temporary fix
