Error description

  • When the IBM Process Portal search index is being built, the
    logs might report hung threads in messages like the following
    message:

    [12/30/17 4:06:32:685 SAST] 0000008e ThreadMonitor W
    WSVR0605W: Thread

Local fix

  • Prevent multithreading from being used when the index is being
    built by setting the following configuration property in the
    100Custom.xml file:

    <search-index merge="mergeChildren">
    <process-index-batch-size>1000</process-index-batch-size>
    </search-index>

Problem summary

  • No additional information is available.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix will be available for a future release of IBM BPM that
    prevents hung threads from occuring when the Process Portal
    search index is being rebuilt.

Temporary fix

  • Not applicable.
