APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you run the serviceDeploy script to build a PI file that
contains web projects and some of the web projects contain Java
source code to compile, you could find that the compiled class
files were packaged in the root path of the resulting WAR file
built from the web projects by serviceDeploy instead of the
target class path of the WAR file, such as WEB-INF/classes.

Problem summary

  • This issue might prevent the classes from loading when the WAR
files are deployed and run.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that use the WEB-INF/classes as the root path for the
compiled Java classes in web projects will be available in a
future release of IBM BPM.
