APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When timer triggered to close the task, the closed_by column is
set to the system user instead of the user in the team
associated to the assignment. As a result, the "Last User" user
distribution does not work.

Problem summary


    

  • The "Last User" user distribution option (in task assignment)
doesn't assign the task to the last user who completed the
previous task when there is an attached timer event in the
activity.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available a future release of IBM BPM that respects the
 "Last User" user distribution option when a timer event is
used.
