APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For BPM 8.5.7.0, a double-DE source environment, when doing
migration we need to export both source DE configuration into
BPMConfig properties files(there are two ones).
Then using each exported BPMConfig properties files to create
target migrated environment. The creating process is failed
when creating second DE, the error message is:
CWMCB0128E: An authentication alias SCA_Auth_Alias already
exists in the system with a different user ID than deadmin_de2.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • During migrating double-de source environment,? the migration
process will be failed at creating second target migrated
deployment environment by BPMConfig command. The root cause is
that SCA_Auth_Alias cannot be shared across all target
deployment environment.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.7.0 CF201706 that corrects
this issue so that all of target deployment environment can be
created successfully.
