APAR status

Error description

  • When you run the BPMMigrate command, you see the following
exception in the BPMMigrate log:

[May 5, 2017 1:54:54 PM] 00000001 SEVERE:
com.ibm.bpm.migration.BPMMigration.migrate - CWMCO1030E: Failed
to migrate adapter with exception:
Error calling /opt/bpm/util/upgrade/BPMMigrateAdapter.py.
Please check the adapter migration log to get more details.

In the corresponding adapter log

exception:

ERROR: The cluster with name tky20-d95 cannot be found
Error calling
'/opt/bpm/util/upgrade/ValidateDeploymentConfiguration.py':
'1'.exceptions.SystemExit

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • This exception occurs when an adapter is configured with the
default value for the cluster name at cluster level, but a
cluster with a matching name does not exist on the target
environment.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 CF201706 that extracts
source cluster information when migrating the configuration.
