APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If logon timeout occurs while a shopper is in the middle of a
check out process, any subsequent check out action displays an
overlay with the following error message:
'Generic Error has occured'

The System.out log also includes the following error:
com.ibm.commerce.webcontroller.WebControllerHelper
rollbackRequest CMN0409E: The following error occurred during
processing: 'java.lang.NullPointerException'

Shopper cannot checkout if the site does not enable persistent
session.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Updated logic to check whether the WC_PERSISTENT cookie is null
before trying to use the cookie.
