Error description

  • You can manage the values of exposed process variables (EPVs) in
the Process Admin Console. When you use special characters in
the new value, the special characters are stored in the database
UI encoded as an entity. For example Max&Moritz becomes
Max&Moritz. Therefore, the EPV value still includes UI
encoded entities when the EPV value is used in an application.

inclusion in BPM 8570 CF 2017.03, that stores the EPV values
correctly.

After you install the fix, open the Process Admin Console and
change the EPV values in question to the expected input. After
the modified EPV values are applied, they should no longer
include UI encoding information.
