APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Using the depthAndLimit=-1,-1,-1,-1 parameter returns a larger
number of first level categories than expected. Results are
inconsistent with the number of categories returned when
executing the REST request without the depthAndlimit parameter.

Local fix

  • Do not use the depthAndLimit parameter

first level categories

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Incorrect hierarchy might be returned by category services.

RECOMMENDATION:

Problem conclusion

  • Removed the logic which was adding non-top categories into top
categories.
