Error description

  • When IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) tries to cache managed
asset class loaders for its process applications, exceptions
might appear in the SystemOut.log file showing a stack like the
following example:

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Interim fix JR54100 introduced code that iterates over a
collection of all managed asset class loaders. If a different
thread adds an entry to the collection at the same time, you
receive a concurrentModification exception.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available on top of IBM BPM fix pack 8.0.1.3 and is
currently targeted for inclusion in IBM BPM 8570 CF2017.03 that
changes the fix code introduced by JR54100 to be thread-safe.
