Error description

  • When you use the buy-on-behalf functionality, e-Marketing Spots
    show content that is targeted for the buyer administrator
    instead of the 'on-behalf' buyer when they are in different
    customer segments.

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce Version 7 administrators who use the
    storefront buy-on-behalf feature.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    Incorrect e-Marketing Spot content when logging on-behalf of
    buyer
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    When an administrator logs in on-behalf of a buyer, the CSR does
     not see the same e-Marketing Spot content that the buyer would
    see.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • When the caller ID and run as ID in the session are different,
    then synchronize the personalization ID of the AuditContext with
     the run as user.
