Error description

  • If you load
'CatalogEntryAttributeDictionaryAttributeRelationship' with the
property 'supportMultipleValuesForADAttributes' equal to
false, the output is not correct and items might be deleted.

When supportMultipleValuesForADAttributes is set to false,
assigning a new attribute value (assigned value) will delete
other existing attribute values even if this value is used by
other catalog entries.

false, the behavior is not as expected.

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Attribute values are erroneously deleted.

RECOMMENDATION:

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Added logic to check whether the assigned value is used by other
 catalog entries. If the result is true, only the relationship
between the catalog entry and the assigned value is deleted. The
 attribute value is not deleted.
