APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A false "modified" warning can occur after opening a promotion
  in the Promotions Tool of Management Center. An asterisk (*)
  appears beside the promotion administrative name, and a pop-up
  message prompts the user to save before closing the promotion.
  
  Additionally, an error message similar to "The selected objects
  have not been saved. You must save objects before you can apply
  the action: Deactivate" when the user attempts to de-activate
  them.
  

Local fix

• Refresh the promotion in Management Center.
  

Problem summary

  Business users that created promotions with imported codes in

Problem conclusion

• This issue occurs when a promotion without imported codes is
  opened after a promotion with imported codes using the promotion
   list view in the Promotions Tool within Management Center.  The
   issue is caused by a stale flag (promotionCodeImportId) for the
   promotion, making it appear that a promotion was in an
  incomplete state.
  
  The promotions serialization code (SerializePromotion.jspf) was
  fixed to ensure that all flags are reset each time a promotion
  is opened.
