Error description

  • Initial price range values on product listing pages are based on
    all the underlying SKUs of a product. But when a shopper
    selects facets, the price range values change based on the SKUs
    that remain after facet selection.
    
    Price range values should not change.

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce environments on Version 7 Feature Pack 7 or
    later and enabled price range configurations in the
    wc-search.xml file.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    Price range is sensitive to facet selections on product listing
    pages

    Different price range values are displayed based on facet
    selections.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • When fetching the SKUs a product has, all facet conditions are
    dropped.
