Error description

  • During maintenance installations, the WebSphere Commerce (WC)
    Update Installer uses WebSphere Application Server (WAS) APIs to
     export and deploy the WC applications. By default, the log
    information for ExportEar, DeployEar, and DeploySearch calls do
    not provide detailed information.

    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • Improved the Update Installer to provide more details in the log
     files. The Update Installer now clearly print out when WSAdmin
     are being made, and also prints all the parameters that are
    passed in to the call.
