JR53981: Preview of Managed File with special character in filename fails when storage_type=-1 or CMSMALLFILE/CMLARGEFILE table is empty

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Preview of a Managed File with a filename containing special
  characters such as a space or plus sign returns 404 error code
  when storage_type=-1 or when CMSMALLFILE / CMLARGEFILE table is
  empty.
  
  Note that if storage_type <> -1 then CMSMALLFILE / CMLARGEFILE
  should not be empty.
  

Local fix

• Do not use filenames with special characters in them.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  Commerce Management Center business users using Attachment tool
  to preview managed files.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Preview of Managed File with special character in filename fails
   when storage_type=-1 or CMSMALLFILE/CMLARGEFILE table is empty
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Business user on CMC cannot preview managed file when file name
  contain special characters and when the managed file is only
  available in the file system, not the database.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Instead of using the HttpServetRequest's pathInfo and
  servletPath to construct the forward path for the URL,  the code
   was changed to use the requestURI and contextPath.
