JR53976: SEO URLs do not change when the store language is changed

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the store is configured to have language specific SEO URLs
  for all the supported languages of the store, then changing the
  language in the store should result in language specific SEO
  URLs throughout the entire site. You might notice that your
  store does not behave as explained.
  
  For example:
  If you are using the English default language (en) and you hover
   over a particular product, you might see an english SEO URL
  such as,
  http://localhost/webapp/c/en/women/dresses/hermitage-pencil-dres
  s
  All parameters like 'category' and 'product URL keyword' are
  language specific.
  
  If you change the store language to French and hover over the
  same product, you might see the following URL,
  http://localhost/webapp/c/fr/women/dresses/hermitage-pencil-dres
  s
  
  Notice that the whole URL is not changed to use the french SEO
  URL. Only the "en" was changed to "fr".

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce V7 users on Feature Pack 7 or later who use
  the Aurora starter store.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  SEO URLs do not change when the store language is changed
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  SEO URLs are not completely updated in the Aurora starter store
  when the store language is changed from the default language.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Set the urlLang parameter in the environment file for site level
   widgets so that the SEO URLs change when the store language is
  changed.
